Privacy policy
NetWin Australia Guide is an independent information site. We are not the operator: we do not run player accounts and we do not take deposits.
What data appears
When you open a page, our hosting provider processes technical connection data: the IP address, the date and time, the address requested and the browser type. It is needed to serve the site and keep it secure, not to identify people.
Traffic measurement
We count visits with Google Analytics 4, which stores an anonymous visitor identifier in your browser. We do not run remarketing, we do not build user profiles and we do not sell data. You can switch the measurement off in your browser settings or with the official Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
Affiliate links
Some links lead to the operator and may earn us a commission. Once you follow one, the privacy policy of the destination site applies.
How long anything is kept
Server logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short operational period and then rotated out; they exist to serve pages and to spot abuse, and we do not mine them. Analytics data is held under the retention period configured in the Google Analytics property, after which the event-level records are deleted and only aggregate reporting remains. Neither store contains a name, an email address or a payment detail, because this site has no form to put one in.
What this site does not collect
There is no account to register, no newsletter to subscribe to, no comment box and no contact form. We do not ask for your name, your age, your address, your bank details or your identity documents, and we could not accept them if you sent them. Anything of that kind belongs to the operator, on the operator's own site, under the operator's own privacy policy — which is a separate document from this one and worth reading before you register there.
Click measurement on affiliate links
When you follow a button to the operator, the destination address may carry a tracking parameter identifying this site as the referrer. That parameter is what lets a commission be attributed; it identifies the site, not you. We also count the click in our own analytics as an anonymous event — which button, which page, what time — so we can see which parts of a review people actually use. Neither record is linked to a person, and neither is shared with anyone beyond the analytics provider already named above.
Third parties
Two external services are involved in serving this page: the hosting provider, which delivers the files and processes the connection data described above, and Google Analytics, which counts visits. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests the font files from that service and it sees the connection data any web request carries. We embed no advertising network, no social widgets and no third-party video player, so nothing else on the page is in a position to observe you.
Children
This site is for adults. Nothing on it is aimed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly process information about anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has been using a device where this site is open, the responsible-gambling page has the parental-control note.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 1988 you may ask what personal information we hold, ask for it to be corrected, and complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied with how a request was handled.
